Will from KBD tiled our backsplash this week. He did a fantastic job on our kitchen. Will really went above and beyond, it was a pleasure to watch a craftsman at work, very meticulous. The corner took the most time, many cuts. Will came back on Tuesday and did the grouting, the backsplash looks awesome. We would definitely recommend this business for anyone looking for tiling work.

Shelby is fantastic to work with! She listens and offers great advice. She doesn’t try to push any product on you. Her customer skills were why I choose KBD over the other quotes I received on my kitchen cabinets and countertops! Love my new kitchen! Highly recommend!

Overall, I am very happy with the service I received from KBD. I needed new countertops, backsplash, and sink installed in my kitchen. I am so happy with the way everything turned out. I got quotes from a lot of places, and KBD was by far the most reasonably priced and fairly easy to work with. They were not pushy in sales, and while they were a little slower to get things installed than promised, I know there are supply chain issues and labor shortages, so I don't fault them too much.
I only have a few complaints, but one of them is kind of a big one, which is why I am leaving a 3 star review and not 5. KBD required me to put 75% down up front and then pay the remaining balance after the work was completed, which I was fine with. I kept all of my invoices as we went so that I could keep track of how much I had spent and would still owe. As work went on, I dropped a few things from the project that I had originally planned to have them do just due to cost. For example, originally, I had asked them to remove my old countertops, but when I heard the cost, I decided to do it myself. When the project was completed, they sent me an invoice for much higher than I actually owed and that did not reflect the payments I had made so far. I contacted them, got an apology, and they said they'd send a corrected invoice. I never got one. Several months later, I got an email asking why I hadn't paid my outstanding balance. I had to ask for an updated invoice several times before I actually received one, and it still didn't reflect the amount I thought I should owe. When I contacted them about the discrepency, I was told that the invoice they gave when I made my down payment had a mistake on it, so it didn't accurately reflect the cost of the work I was having done. They wanted me to pay more than what they originally invoiced me for. The saleswoman told me that the mistake was hers but that she would have to pay the difference in balance if I pushed the issue. I didn't want to make her pay for a mistake, but it was a rather large difference in cost. I had a budget and had been careful to stick to it, but now they were asking for more than I had expected to pay. That was frustrating. I paid the amount they asked for, but just due to this experience, I probably won't ever hire them again or recommend them to friends.
All of the people I dealt with were so kind. The man who did my tile backsplash was especially personable. I don't get a lot of time off of work, so I had a friend stay at my house while he was working. He bought her lunch while he was there, and she said he was the nicest person. Overall, KBD did a fantastic job. However, charging me a different amount that what I was originally invoiced for just really turned me off.

My wife and I had an amazing experience with the crew at KBD in CR. Molly had a great design for our kitchen and kept control of the process. There were few problems and the ones we encountered were solved quickly and professionally. We love our new kitchen!!
