Preferred Property Management

They don't exist anymore. They changed their name to Affinity Property Management and relocated to 1221 Park Place NE Suite C, Cedar Rapids, Iowa 52402 Not sure how they get away with doing nothing but for about four months my neighbor has had a hole in his ceiling filled with black mold. He has called and gone to their office only to be told that they can't do anything about it due to staff shortage. There are so many more issues I've reported but I'm too fed up to complain anymore. I don't know what to do and, I feel helpless and taken advantage of.

Too expensive just to apply, without even knowing if you have a shot at qualifying. Even though you're the one taking the credit hit, and to top it of they won't even tell you the name of the company doing your background check. Companies such as this are just monopolizing.

We had an emergency where our heating kept going off when it was below zero outside at night and the inside temperature got down to 50. Handyman Mark came out the next day and replaced the thermostat, fixing the problem. He also double-checked the heating system to make sure there was no problem there. It took just a couple of hours and then the three of us (including our six-month old boy) were back to having a properly heated house. Quick response and great service.

Damaged my credit. Not only was the over 700.00+ deposit taken, but also charge 500+ dollars that I was uniformed about, and found on my credit report 5 years later... I still have no idea what the charges were for. Not impressed
