It was a bit of a bumpy start after the derecho. From what I understand, Alliance Mutual didn’t have enough in-house adjusters to deal with the influx of claims, which made sense. We were patient because we didn’t have any damage that made our house unlivable. In the end, everyone we worked with at this company was amazing. They really took care of us. I had heard horror stories from friends who had big name insurance companies and they were denying claims left and right. We will continue to be loyal customers because of the amazing service we got after the derecho. Thank you Alliance Mutual!!

Our family was affected by the derecho storm in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on 8/10/20 and the Insurance Adjuster has still not arrived. No one has called to give me an idea on when they will arrive so I took it upon myself to find out. After calling the main office they gave me contact information for the adjuster who I had to call. After contacting him he explained that he will show up to review on 9/7/20, which is just shy of 4 weeks after the storm hit. I am sorry but 4 weeks after a major incident like this is totally unacceptable. It sounds like this group needs more adjusters to help out with these claims and need to be much more proactive in helping their customers. Pretty disappointed so far.
