Went in to explore a relatively simple situation, the guy didn't know a thing about it. He yawned directly at me without covering his mouth about a half dozen times during our conversation. He seemed uninterested in the matter, to not care in the least. I paid $40 for him to look at the Internet for about 30 seconds. I had called in advance and asked them if they had familiarity with what I was dealing with in they assured me they did. He said that he dealt almost exclusively with landlord tenant disputes. I left with no better insight into what to do than when I arrived. What I experienced was a lack of professionalism and acumen. I ended up calling a lawyer in Des Moines who gave me a half hour of free consultation and a much better understanding of what to do.
