Inadequate, terrible, and unprofessional service by Heaton and Assocuate Assurance. My mother and family were taken advantage of by Heaton & Associate INC and were treated differently due to the language barrier. After they were involved in a secondary accident which was caused by two other vehicles, my mothers car was hit and then ended up colliding with the car behind her. Both driver and passenger were rushed to the hospital. After being released from the hospital, the next day she went to the Marion IA location to explain the incident to them. They ran her into circles and proceeded by telling her she was at fault even though the initial accident was caused by someone else. They then increased her assurance rate from $193 (2)vehicles to $311 despite having an excellent driving record.
The discrimination and advantage taken caused by Heaton and Associate Inc. American Family Assurance was not only abhorrent but also disgusting to us all. The end goal of a company should be to treat all people with respect and dignity. Not to just be viewed as a walking wallet.
