Has there been a change in the aisles online shopping? I have noticed some changes recently which are not good. I ask the shopper to check the dates, especially on salads but I still get a package that dates out in two days. Produce they pick has been rotten or over ripe and I just have to throw it away. Not too happy with the change!!!

Can't shop in Humboldt as they block aisles with pellets. Safety issue and can't get to shelf. Best to go to Fareway

What is going on at the Hy-Vee stores now days? "There's a helpful smile in every aisle" apparently no longer applies. Customer service is dead. First the checkouts close at 10 or 9:50 or 9:30 or just whenever the lazy front-end manager feels like it. It's 9:50 and I'm told I need to self-check because they closed the last till early. First it's not 10pm, second I will never use a "self-checkout" because I do not work for Hy-Vee and lastly if three employee are standing around talking at the front of the store, one of them can open a lane and check customers out. It always amazes me to see how many employees (kids, where are the adults?) stand around watching the self-check out when they could just open a lane, do their job and help customers. So what am I left to do? I push the cart aside and walk out. Instead of taking a short amount of time to provide customer service and make a sale, they choose to spend their time putting everything in the cart back on the shelves. Hy-Vee is out a $100 sale as I take my business to Fairway where there are employees who actually care about their store, their customers and never expect you to work for them. It disgusting as a customer on how much shove off you get in the stores. What's next, customers stocking the shelves? Why not have them unload the truck also. I don't want to get a canned corporate response about in the name of "corporate savings" or "corporate economic challenges"? It's all non-sense in the name of squeezing an extra penny out of everything, but it makes for nothing if you lose customers in the process. I've had enough indifference from adolescent Hy-Vee front-end managers. Hy-Vee is more like Bye-vee to me now

I got terminated from Hy-Vee for some mental health issues that were coming in between my job. I am not upset for being terminated. But now that it’s been 6 months later and I am have been stable. I try to get my job back. I apologize for my actions, and say my family is having a rough time right now and I desperately need this job and I will prove my way up that I can and will show up to work. I even have a doctors note from my shrink stating my issues I had and they were valid. I cried to Lisa Leonard and begged for a job any job there. It’s not my fault I had this sudden diagnosis of mental illness that put me back. You think since I am at a good state now and I have proof they would reconsider. Lisa Leonard didn’t even hesitate. She very snarky said in between me crying NO I WILL NEVER HIRE YOU BACK! I AM SORRY! Mind you the store is hiring for four different positions. They desperately need people but they won’t reconsider me a job back. Wow! What a fantastic Human Resources Department. I will keep this going on any and all sites and make all the calls i need to to get this out. Hy Vee is petty like I have never seen or heard!
