Atchison Area Chamber of Commerce

The Atchison Chamber of Commence was our first stop before going to the Amelia Earhart museum. It has a nice little museum featuring Natural History and famous people from Atchison, KS. It is the meeting place for many Trolley tours. The museum is a donation - $5 for a family. There is a nice gift shop with Amelia Earhart books and tshirts as well as Haunted Atchison books and tees.

My husband and I visited Atchison a couple of years ago to go on one of the incredible "Haunted Tours" - we heard about this town by way of a lovely book written by Keli Adams, who is a gifted psychic and a great, down to earth and to the point writer. Keli Adams explained at length the phenomena of the paranormal- and led us to purchase a home and move here this year! The book store and "Haunted" Museum at the Train Station on 10th Street is very lovely, very well put together and the Museum is very interesting. The tours are very detailed, and we were able to meet Maria Miller who is in charge of the tours- and were able to find out more in depth information. I would highly advise everyone to make Atchison one of your best places to visit- and who knows, you might end up moving here and being part of this very unique, very "sexy" Haunted Community!
