I overall like this bank but I do have a couple of issues. The main issue I have is the atm. The atm here has lost my cash a handful of times or part of my cash. This after is the most recent. It wasn’t much to be fair but I put in $31 and only received $21 back. This type of behavior is strange and I would like it to be looked at as this wasn’t the only time this has happened.

Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience with NBKC bank and I will discourage Waldo-area small businesses from using them. Our account was closed due to the fact that they claimed that they could not verify the address of my non-profit. First, the non-profit address has already been verified and established with the IRS, the Missouri SOS, and the MO DoR. NBKC bank opened my account and sent my debit card, I confirmed my identity and activated my card. So, why would you (NBKC) open an account and send a debit card to a customer's address if you could not verify their address in the first place? Does that not put me and our financial security at risk? The answer is that this was all thoroughly proven when I provided all required documentation and activated my debit card. Further, if you were so concerned about my address, why would you mail the cashier's check with our funds to that address? Again, this seems highly illogical and irresponsible. The banker claimed that they were concerned because we are a church and the address is not at a church building. That is correct. This is because churches do not magically begin in a building. Especially ones who are established IN THE MIDDLE OF A PANDEMIC to serve the community. Churches, even in the best of times, begin as small non-profits who follow the rules and regulations and try to serve the community. And, again, we are in a pandemic, so no, it would be irresponsible for us to purchase a building when so many people need of things like food and clothing, which we have prioritized. I also attempted to call and contact through their online form at least four times. I am incredibly disappointed in the lack of professionalism displayed. It just doesn't make sense.

These people are rude, unhelpful and made me feel stupid. I had opened up a new account and used their mobile deposit service thinking that it would be like any other bank and I would receive my funds the next business day. They put my funds on hold for over a week and when I questioned them they said there was nothing they could do and that I should have read their fine print more carefully. In addition, I never received my checks or debit card which had been “processed†over a month ago and was never notified of any efforts on their part to try to rectify the situation. If I could give a 0 star rating I would because this is the worst bank I have ever worked with. Don’t bank here unless you feel like being taken for a ride and wasting your time.
