Closing all your branches in Topeka? Closing ALL your branches...in the state capitol? Seriously? We've been banking with BoA for years, and we've had our share of bumps here and there, but nothing made us willing to switch. That being said, when the closest branch of our bank is suddenly 30 miles away, we're just gonna have to switch banks. I honestly think there's something going on that BoA just doesn't want to share, because for a "too big to fail" bank closing all its branches in a town of around 125,000 people is just incredibly stupid. Laughably stupid.

I was selling my 2013 Jeep Wrangler and had a small amount of a BoA auto loan to pay off. The buyer and I met in this BoA where the buyer was going to also get a BoA auto loan for the full price of the Jeep. When selling the vehicle the teller listed my loan payoff amount as the sell amount essentially selling my 2013 Jeep for a couple of grand despite us both agreeing to a 17k sell price in the office. I waited for my check for about a month before I called BoA support who told me I was not entitled to any money. I could also not get details as to the sale because it would disclose the buyers loan amount so I did not realize this error occurred. Thankfully the buyer contacted me after two months saying that they had only given her a couple thousand dollar loan instead of 17k and that she was going to get an additional loan and send it to me. If people in KS weren't so nice I would have been out over ten thousand dollars due to a clerical error. Took almost 3 months to get the money for selling my Jeep.
