Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft

Store is not helpful at all. I was told I could come in and square up a project on their cutting surface, drove over there, unloaded my toddler from the car, went in, and was told no, they wouldn't help me...what a waste of time. Their fabric selection is not very good, and their sales aren't good either. The clerks are typically rude and the store is not very clean. I will start shopping for fabric elsewhere. Jo-ann's is close to my home, but I will start driving further and paying more just to no longer give them my business.

Every time I come to this store I leave extremely peeved! I've never had to wait extremely long, but the staff are rude, which the exception of one lady who was friendly, but I don't remember her name. It is true that they are slow at cutting fabric. I made a mistake when checking out and I got a cold reply, with an arrogance that made me feel extremely stupid, from the cashier and silence when I explained myself. It was like I didn't belong and that's exactly how I feel the whole time I'm in the store. When I ask where something is, I don't get shown where it's at, I get long winded directions..."go here to this corner, make a left where all the singer stuff is...at the very end...blah blah blah..." That's a little confusing for someone who does not work in the store. I've never had trouble finding items or finding my way around any other fabric store. It is not very logically organized...at least to me. Like others have said, the selection is very limited if you're wanting anything other than cotton. I've only been twice. The first time I was mad, but left with what I wanted. The second time, I was so frustrated with the customer service and lack of help, I dropped the bolt of fabric and other items I had in my hand and left. It really ruined my mood that day! You could walk around that store all day, completely lost and they wouldn't say a thing!!! Safe to say I will not be returning. Poor service, I will go elsewhere from now on!

Great store with wide selection of fabric all at a good price. Glad to have Jo-Ann's in the neighborhood.

I went for the second time today. I've been before, and it took me forever to get my trim cut and to check out. Today I went in knowing exactly what I wanted. I grabbed it off the shelf (I was on my 1 hour lunch break from work), and promptly went to the cutting counter. I stood there for 30 minutes waiting while another employee just kind of looked at the crowd of people and walked away. The staff is rude, incredibly slow, and disorganized. I've never had such a horrible experience in a business ever. It should never ever take that long to just get trim cut, and I didn't even get to the checkout. I put everything down and just walked off. Not only was I almost late getting back to work, but I wasn't even able to eat my lunch. No wonder the place was almost shut down. Deplorable.
