image Horrible Valentines Experience. So, I don’t know about most of you but I at least expect close to what I see in the picture. Instead I got less flowers and more greenery fill. Then I called 800 FLOWERS who have great customer service and they took great care of me. A picture is worth a 1000 words, well so is a rude owner. (Left) $100 what I paid for (Right) what I got.

image Ruth dropped off a Thank You bouquet 💐 from a friend. It was absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! Just exploding with color and balanced character. It was so fragrant and fresh and lasted for over two weeks. When she dropped it off she told me about one of the unique stalks she had added. That kind of skill and extra service is rare and wonderful!! Thank you, Ruth!

image AVOID THIS PLACE!!! YOUR FLOWERS WILL NOT LOOK LIKE WHAT YOU ORDERED, AND THE OWNER IS PSYCHO!
I ordered an arrangement for Mothers Day through 1800flowers, which they informed me was fulfilled/delivered by Ruth's Floral Designs. I ordered the Always on My Mind arrangement, which comes with lilies, roses, gerber daisies, snap dragons, larkspur, and greens in a square vase, and also ordered the larger arrangement. These are not exotic or hard to find flowers by any means. What my mom received was NO lillies, 1 pathetic daisy (not a gerber), the roses were all there, a few snapdragons, NO larkspur, and tons of greens (probably because there were so many missing flowers), in a round (not square) vase. It was also a very small, not the larger arrangement I had paid extra for. It looked nothing like what I had ordered.
When I called 1800flowers to let them know how disappointed I was, clearly they notified Ruth. She actually went to my moms house, knocks on her door, ON MOTHERS DAY, crying asking why she didnt like the flowers. I couldnt believe when my mom called and told me. I dont know in what world she thinks this is professional, but someone needs to educate this women on how to run a professional business. If she had questions she should have called ME. Then she actually asked my mom for the flowers back. Based on other reviews I have read this is not the first time she has done this either.
When I called her to let her know how unprofessional her behavior was she actually told me I was the one that was unprofessional for complaining. That I had got what I paid for. I told her the arrangement looked nothing like what I ordered. She said she has the right per her contract with 1800flowers to swap flowers out at her discretion. Which I would have been fine with, I understand you can run out of a type of flower here and there. However, if you dont have more than half of the flowers that belong in an arrangement then maybe you should call the customer and see if they want to select a different one. Most people pick arrangements based on a certain flower(s) that are in them, which in my case were the lilies. She was extremely rude and has the worst customer service skills I have ever seen. She is clearly a scam artist, you will not get what you pay for!! All the negative reviews on here she writes that they are "FAKE" reviews, however they all have one thing in common, her showing up asking for the flowers back. Scam!!! Avoid this place at all cost.

image She's probably going to write FAKE REVIEW, but texts and phone records showing we actually ATTEMPTED to do business with her. BY FAR, the MOST unprofessional florist I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with.
I just wanted a special arrangement for a very special birthday. Can't be with my family member on her birthday, wanted to WOW her on her special day. What happened has definitely made her say "WOW!" But for a negative reason.
Here's what happpened.
1. Ordered a very large arrangement from 800-Flowers, described as: All-around arrangement with autumn-colored roses, sunflowers, orange Asiatic lilies, red and autumn-colored daisy poms; accented with wheat, solidago and assorted greenery. Artistically designed in a clear glass vase accented with raffia; measures 8"H. Extra large arrangement measures approximately 22"H x 15W.
2. I asked for pictures from the recipient. Was angry and shocked that Ruth tried to pass this mess off as what I paid for.What Ruth sent was less than HALF the arrangement I purchased.
3. I called 800-Flowers, I was told another arrangement would be sent. When she was notified she needed to redo the arrangement, Ruth called my family and asked for her flowers back.
4. Ruth was supposed to make a NEW arrangement for my family member. She CANCELLED the replacement order. I found that out after calling 800-Flowers AGAIN to find out where the replacement arrangement was.
5. I called today (3rd time) to find out why the replacement arrangement STILL had not been sent and was told that this florist CANCELLED the replacement order a 2nd time.
6. I called the florist and she said she REFUSES to send another arrangement because the flowers were "above the ordered value".
7. She sent an inferior arrangement, demanded that her flowers be set outside so she could take them BACK AND cancels TWICE and REFUSES to send ANYTHING? So basically I just send her my money to have a temper tantrum? Very professional.
8. The edges of the roses were wilting, she said "No, they have a red tint to the edges, they're a special rose." Check the pics. No red tint. Wilted.
You be the judge.This is common place for this florist. Read her other reviews. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!!! I guess since I live out of town, I wouldn't discover her sham.
I didn't ask ANYONE for a refund. I asked for SOMEONE to make it right. Ruth told me if I was dissatisfied, I should take it up with 800-Flowers.
Can someone tell me why it's ok to be treated this way? Why would she list a guarantee on her website, yet only demand flowers back if someone isn't happy? I'm fine with taking back the flowers.....but REPLACE what you've been paid for. Don't say you're refusing a replacement because you get your feelings hurt because someone isn't satisfied.
