The picture says it all. Contracted for the railing to come to the first landing. A year later of promises and it is still not corrected; and no price adjustment. Matter of fact, as soon as I complained, they had an attorney involved rather than work with the person who contracted the work.

The work they did was very good, and they were fairly prompt about getting over to give the estimate. Once we had that and decided to go with them it all went downhill. They gave the estimate for new gutters on the house in mid February. They did not come out to do the gutters until the end of May. There were about three areas on the roof and soffits that needed to be repaired before they could complete the work. Thus 3 large sections were not done. We had the roof areas repaired within two weeks of the first installation . Meanwhile we received a bill for the entire job around $4000. Knowing how long it took them to get out to do the job the first time we only paid them $3000,, and called and notified them that we would pay the balance when the job was completed . They did not come back out until late October. During that 4 month wait we spoke to their bookkeeper on at least 3 occasions who emailed and called about the balance to be paid. Each time we explained to her that we would not pay until the work was Completed . The last letter even Threatening to take us to court and have a lien placed on the home. Every time we would call back reminding Becky that the work had not been done. We were actually fairly patient and would call and remind them Or ask for an approximate date but never got upset. I would probably have even left at least a 4 star review had we not been harassed and threatened by her letters calls and emails trying to collect for work that had been done. Pathetic customer service from this part of their operation.

Have used Affordable Exteriors in the past and was pleased with the work. This time the customer service has been anything but great. Going on waiting over two months for the OWNER to return a bid on our job. Not the only company out there . . .
