OYO Hotel Jennings I-10

The hotel is terrible. It was filthy, so bad that within 30 minutes we left and went to a Hampton Inn. It is totally misrepresented online. The pictures must be from 20 years ago. Absolutely do not go to this hotel.

The tv did not work, the remote did not work, there’s no way to do laundry, the toilet did not work half the time, there were 3 roaches we killed the first night in our room. The AC did not work, there’s no breakfast, they say they have WiFi but they DONT. For the room to be over $100, that was ridiculous and over priced. The rooms used to be $59 a night. Until they fix everything in ALL the rooms, they need to go back DOWN on the prices. Why is Jennings the only location that’s priced so high and nothing works?

My stay at the OYO in Jennings La was absolutely horrible. The wifi signal doesn’t reach all the rooms and when I told the inn keeper she started yelling at me. Very unprofessional. The roaches are horrible and the housekeeping is terrible. Blood stains on sheets and filthy furniture. Don’t expect any great customer service either. In fact if you see the hotel just keep driving past. Trust me it’s not worth it. I will be reporting the place to the health department and their corporate office. Absolutely shameful.

My stay at The Oyo was excellent, i stay there when i go out of town for work and the lady at the desk is very nice, always replaces my towels, and the hotel is very clean, they have all cable channels including HBO, Lifetime, and even sports access. I love staying at The Oyo because the housekeeping is excellent. the room is always clean when i check in and bathroom sink has a really nice vanity wall. the guests typically stay to themselves so you dont have to worry about disturbances and it is conveniently located right off of i10. CHUPON ON POINT.
