The lady we worked with at the counter was extemely nice and efficient. Car was renal ready when we arrived. Because of the location of rentals at MSY, early morning return was a bit tricky. Signage is VERY basic and the roads are dark and not well lined...not AVIS' fault, but is an issue.

I appreciated the shuttle from the airport to the rental facility. The service line was handled quickly with little waiting. Paperwork was completed I only needed to pick up my keys and get in my car. Return was a breeze. Just follow the arrows and a representative inspected the car to make sure nothing was left behind. She took my keys and I was off. The Courtesy shuttle took me to the airport. I was grateful for no hassle and little waiting.

The first car I was assigned was sold between the time I was given my documents and when I got to the parking lot. The second car I was given had an engine warning and needed to be replaced. The third car had been smoked in by the previous renter and was filthy on the outside. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous when I needed to replace the car but didn't approach me when I dropped it off at the end of the week.
