Update: Had a great half day solo session with Kincaid today! Managed to climb 5 routes near the Precipice Trail with a bit of hiking and rappelling mixed in. Very safe and professional. Highly recommended.
7 years ago: We did a 4 hour session with Ryan at Otter Cliffs and it was perfect. He was so friendly and professional and taught me the basics of setting up. Everything was so safe. The three of us took turns climbing and did 3.5 climbs each. My favorite was the chimney one, the most famous in Acadia. With the Atlantic Coast under us and waves crashing into the walls we're climbing above, it was beautiful and so much fun.

I had the most amazing time with Murphy whom I already knew from Joshua Tree where he works as a guide during non summer months. We did a South bubble rock all the way up to the summit and a cool otter cliff repel down and up. Murphy is such a wholesome and awesome dude I really cannot get enough of him. Saying he is the best is not sufficient how much joy and comfort he gives and provides every second I spend time with him climbing.
Highly recommend this shop and especially murphy. I think Acadia will have a dear place in my hear thanks to his kindness and safety first attitude and great ways to show me and challenge me to do various climbing routes. Really the best.

We'd give 10 out of 5 stars if we could. Mike & Mike (Big & Little) were awesome. They took the time to explain everything to the kids; right down to figure 8 knots. And those guys had the patience of Saints dealing with kids & adults climbing with raging cases of ADHD. If you want to learn to climb you WANT to see ACS.
