image Our group of 10 people took a trip with 201 power sports (they work with North County Rivers or are maybe the same company) mid july. We took 4 ATVs and 3 side by sides with Josh and Caleb on a four hour guided tour. Our group mostly consists of motor heads, a couple people have gone on snowmobiles and 1 or 2 who have tried ATVs/ side by sides before. They asked us what kind of trails we were looking to go on and we said the most fun/wild.
Everyone had a blast! Even the people who were not really into driving loved the scenery.
We had a couple pit stops including a lake, a windmill (the scale is crazy), and at a waterfall.
The trails are a mix of technical areas where you need to take it slow and open areas you can throttle down.
One of our guides unfortunately took a log to a control arm? Axle?, got held up and needed to be picked up. The other guide stopped to make sure he was okay and out of the woods before we continued on. They did not take away from our time! These things happen and it was great that the guide made sure we still got to see everything even after the hold up. He asked us if we were in a rush and were happy we said no because we got to see the secret waterfall.
No one in our group had any charges against them for damages. That being said none of us went off course or were thrown from our vehicles either. Damage can occur on trails so its best to pay attention during the safety video for tips to avoid bottoming out etc.
Tips
-Show up on time
-Bring bandanas or gators to avoid dust inhalation (everyone in our group that didnt bring their own closed helmets had a nice ring of dust where there were openings on the helmet and around the goggles. You'll be visor down while moving if you use a full face helmet. You will get dusty.
-Pack a bunch of water and extra to wash hands
-Pack a snack
-Gloves even a throw away home depot pair were nice
-Handlebar or chest mounts are best for go pros.

image Wanted to give a shout-out to these wonderful people at 201 power sports! We were lucky enough to meet one of the crew out on the atv trail. We were lost and in a bit of a bind for gas and this angel came along and saved us! Always great service in the shop too! Thank you!!
