This was a great place to walk around and look at the harbor, gardens, lovely shops and do a little shopping and get a bite to eat. Something to do for most everyone. A great rainy day place.

I went on the 10 am sail on the schooner Surprise. Camden Landing known as Public Landing is a recreational public boating landing. The emphssis is recreational not commercial. The Camden Public Landing is a beautiful harbor area. It is very busy in August with lmited parking. The parking at the Landing is limited to two hours. Note: almost all the boating senic tours are two plus hours. Parking is strictly enforced. Two hours one minute equals a parking find (ten plus dollars). Best to park in the two public free lots. One is adjacent the library. The other is next to the firehouse. These lots fill up fsst best to park verg early. These are five minute walk to the docks. The Schooner Surprise is very histotical being build in 1918 and still in continuous use. Highly recommended sailing tour.
