image We can all agree that what they do for the animals is commendable. And the fact that this is a no kill shelter is a plus. However, what goes on behind the scenes is a whole different story. The president of the board makes everyone's lives miserable. The way she treats her employees, volunteers and contractors is terrible. She's rude, demeaning and talks down on people in a condescending fashion. She has made several people up and quit because of how badly she treated them which is why they are always understaffed. She doesn't pay her contractors either. The other board members arent any better either. The way the organization is run is unethical.

image This place is horrible. My Father in his seventies paid money for a dog he couldn't keep and they refused to give him his money back. Very rude people. Have no issues stealing from the elderly. I would stay away from this place.

image What can I say about The Ark that hasn't already been stated.
They are just Wonderful people with Huge hearts, who care deeply for the pets they care for.
On a personal note, my Russian blue kitty Niko ,almost died from urinary blockage and they along with several others helped to provide life saving resources to save my sweet boy.
Today my boy Niko is doing well and thriving like his old self. #Grateful2TheArk
I also adopted my girly girl Sheba from them several years ago, and she is just a delight. The 3rd kitty is a feral we saved from outside, her name is Kymera :-)
