Columbia Falls General is a hidden gem just off route 1 in the small town of Columbia Falls. If you’re a fan of quality produce, thoughtfully curated country crafts, sandwiches, candies and ice cream, you’ll be thrilled to walk through the store’s vintage front door, jangling its old-timey bell and creaking it’s floorboards as you do so. Robert mcklosky’s ‘One Morning in Maine’ comes to mind or Andy Griffiths ‘Mayberry.’ We love this place ! So will you.

Such great owners. The Columbia Falls General Store is such a great small town store. The hospitality is the true small town feel. They care about the products they carry. From hand made knifes to handmade guitars and wooden toys the skill level from the local talents are truly amazing. The food is great, I try and get lunch there once a week because the food is so great. You will not be disappointed by stopping and going back in to time and history of how life use to be and how life should be.

Great Beef! Nice and friendly staff. Nice to go into a place with a nostalgic well-to-do atmosphere for once, unlike most of the new places where nobody cares.

If I could give this place 100 stars, I would. It is the epitome of a small local general store. Everything from fresh baked goods, local meats, seasonal fruits and veggies, to yarn, pottery and art. The people are so warm and friendly. You are missing out if you don't at least stop in!
