Farmstead Bed and Breakfast

We have stayed at Farmstead twice now, and plan to go back again when we go through that area next week. The Rose room is not large, but worked well for us. There was enough room for us to bring in several suitcases and boxes to reorganize our things. The pancakes were delicious and we found we could make requests at breakfast. The price was reasonable and was the best option for us in the area.

Positively the grossest place Ive ever stayed at. The place is run down and has not been updated probably in 45 years. Room stunk ( old smokers smell), dust on every surface in our bedroom and I seriously do not think the sheets were changed from last visitors, as the fitted sheet had impressions of quilted mattress, showing.The host was I credibly rude at breakfast telling ALL people in the room that the people staying in the Orange room, have not paid their bill. Not once but TWICE. Of course that was us and, NO, we had not checked out yet!!The breakfast was inedible ( cut up watermelon with Tabasco and vinegar) that no one ate.Place is for sale. Good thing...soon there will be no more sufferers.

Room was clean and cozy. Breakfast was very yum. We will return to same place if we goto that area
