This is the best delivery service that I’ve ever used. The staff is so attentive and responsive, 100% on top of every stage of the orders. The delivery personnel are very courteous and pleasant. The notifications are super helpful and spot-on.

Second update: the owner reached out when I mentioned my experience on a FB ad for their company and ensured that I received a refund and an apology over six months later. Better late than never.
Update: They knew they were delivering the wrong food and neither apologized nor refunded. Used to order from them 1-2x/week but won't be ordering from them again.
Placed an order on 27 July 2020, had a topping missing, emailed to have it addressed. The call I got back from the guy who was on that night was, in summary, "Yes, we knew it would be missing, because the restaurant told us. We were busy, so we didn't bother to call you to check if you the customer were okay with it, and just told the restaurant it'd be fine." However, I would have ordered something else had I known, as the missing item was crucial. I threw out that meal after a day of holding it for proof, and I received no contact from Takeout Guys, no refund, and no apology. Can't recommend these folks because they neither fix nor apologize for their own mistake.
Previous 4 star review: Great local business, friendly folks, and quick to resolve problems with an order before they become the customer's problem (restaurant was out of something, they called to check what I wanted within minutes of my order!). Always prompt delivery when promised, whether in Portsmouth or further afield.
