      image Clean sites and great views. Only complaint is that they have boulders all over the place which makes it difficult to navigate backing into sites when you already have trees to worry about. Its one thing if they are just along the road, but they are in random spots.

      image We recently stayed at Patten Pond and enjoyed our time there. Sites were good, accessible and overall the park was quiet. Nice amenities, especially the pond. The only real negatives are the long, dry and extremely dusty gravel entry road and multiple speed bumps. By the time we reached registration our rv and toad were absolutely covered in dust. That 1/2 mile entry needs to be paved or at least oiled to minimize the accumulation of dust and dirt.

      image Deep in the woods Patton Pond campground is a rustic place to try and park a big motorhome! Host had to guide us in around low hanging trees (we have 12'10" height, so it was a bit scary). We loved camping there because of rustic feel and a river running close to our site.

      image We stayed under our Thousand Trails membership and enjoyed the campground. It is about 45 min to Bar Harbor and Arcadia National Park. Campground was clean and well maintained. We would definitely stay again.
