Unfortunately there’s just no communication. Apparently I got a new agent to my case and I wasn’t notified and my new agent failed to let me know my car insurance declined my proof of residency so I lost my car insurance and I’d have to pay more money to get the insurance from the same company they had me go with. I thought the point of going to a place like this is so that it’s made easier on me .

Our home burned to the ground Easter Sunday including a complete loss of one car and damage to my pick-up truck. Chalmers placed me with MMG insurance. I have received no help or concern by Chalmers Insurance. Not even a phone call inquiring how I am making out. No help when MMG greatly discounted the value of my totaled vehicle and ignored the value of seven of the ten cars that were for sale of the same year, same mileage, and same model. And no payment for "dealer's profit" if we buy another vehicle. Who ever heard of such a thing. Replacement coverage on contents is a farce even though I paid extra for it. Replacement cost is not based on what I paid for anything, but how much I can buy it for today, and then from that, depreciated value unless I buy a new item. EX: Paid $1200 for my TV 8 years ago. It can be bought today for $250, but I won't even get that much unless I purchase the replacement. This is being extended to all our contents. Do they really think that on a total loss of contents is excess of $340,000 that we are going to replace every single item? But we owned everything, and we paid for a Homeowner's policy that provides around $240,000, but it looks like MMG is not even going to "offer" us the $240,000! So, how would you rate Chalmers if you got this "service"?
