image Absolutely surreal how grossly unprofessional the attorneys here are that are currently representing the personal representative of my moms estate so thoroughly disgusted as the PR lied and said there is zero money in the estate to find out there is $1700 available for utilities yet the pr made the heirs pay to keep them on and this law firm is just backing her up!!! DISGUSTING

image I had a terrible experience with Farris Law. Their quality control and lack of communication were both unacceptable.
Details of my experience upon requesting a lifetime lease template:
* I received a life lease as I requested and for the price I was quoted me over the phone (great!)
* In addition to the requested life lease, I also received a subordination agreement and a bill for the creation of that agreement. I had not requested a subordination agreement. I did not know what a subordination agreement was, and I certainly did not approve the work to be done nor the fees to be charged. I now understand the bank needed that in addition to the life lease; however, no one communicated that to me prior to the work being completed and billed.
* The bill was attached to the same pdf as the life lease and the subordination agreement. It is customary (because it is significantly more convenient) for anyone having to share electronic documents to have documents attached to an email as separate documents -- lease, bill.
* I found an error -- my name was misspelled on one page of the document. It was corrected. A single page of the pdf was sent rather than the corrected complete document.
* I found another error -- the last page of the subordination agreement was not complete, lacking a notary public signature line, and an extra page from another document referencing other client names and a summer 2022 date was attached as the last page. I was told to disregard the last page. I had to point out the missing signature line. I then received a corrected document with the message "Here you go." No apology for the numerous errors, nor no thanks for finding a mistake in the legal document prepared.
* The documents I received appeared to have been printed then scanned and were slightly crooked. I suspect that this was a practice from decades ago to avoid recipients from editing a file; however, in the age of Acrobat Pro and OCR text recognition available on most scanners and pdf viewing software, that's really not any protection, and the crooked document simply seems unprofessional.
As you can no doubt surmise: not a pleasant experience.
