Houlton Big Stop Restaurant

My daughter and I stopped here for brunch, the food was OK, typical of an Irving truck stop however our server was awful. I asked her 3 times for a coffee and (my daughter still hadn't gotten her correct soda)refill in a 20 minute span then got up after seeing what looked like a great server with a pot of coffee and she politely refilled my cup. Also pretty sure our server was more interested in cooks because our neighbors got their food before us and we ordered well before they did. They had the server i got the coffee from. I could give you all the tid bits about our brunch but really the summary would be enough for me. I can't say I won't stop there again to eat however I will make sure I dont get that server again. I have worked years in food service from a hostess, to server to management.

Nice omelet.. Potatoes were good also. Ask about blueberry pancakes! Not on the menu, but they are AWESOME. (They can't get the blueberries all the time unfortunately!) Good breakfast for sure.

Friendly staff, tasty food, great selection, attractive prices. Have gotten large pans of food for community lunches, suppers, parties and those save a lot of work are a delicious. Need a lasagna, mac and cheese, a cafeteria size bunch of baked beans? Think Big Stop to help your event and save you time.
