Toilet didn't flush, shower had no pressure or good tempature control, sauna doesnt exist.

Room appeared clean and bed was comfortable. Heat and hot water were fine. The refrigerator and microwave were fine. The cable for the TV was just stuck in the back, so any movement of the TV dislodged the cable (cable TV is unimportant to me so I did not report it), there was a broken table lamp leaning in the corner but it was functional as long as you did not move it. The sink was slow to drain and the flush lever on the toilet had to be held for a couple of seconds for a complete flush. The tub had a soft/low spot where water gathered. The breaker for the coffee pot and desk lamp evidently tripped on the last day of my stay but it was not important to me so I did not report it. I arrived exactly at check in time with no one at the front desk, after ringing the bell, an attendant arrived within five or so minutes. The type of room I requested was not available so I was offered another type room, which I accepted due to just driving 10 hours. As people have stated the hotel is very dated and there is an odor in the common areas but it was not noticeable in my room. Although there is an indoor pool and sauna it is treated seasonal and closed several months of the year. Unfortunately I did not see this stipulation on the web site as I think no one anticipates an indoor pool being closed from fall into spring. Availability of a fitness room should also be removed from the web site, as I cannot imagine anyone working out in the room. There is not one piece of decent equipment and there's no way I would lay on or touch the floor to do any type of exercise. Looks like a bunch of stuff from a yard sale. While there was WiFi the signal strength was insufficient to stream entertainment. It did support video calls and may be better in other parts of the building. Breakfast is available but really nothing to choose from, certainly nothing remotely nutritional or healthy. Some sugary cereals, cheap, sugary pastries, miniature muffins, full of preservatives and yogurt. There were hard boiled eggs and waffle makers and I think English muffins, however no fruit and no meat, nothing fresh. The coffee was good. Breakfast is at 6:30, which given a lot of people are there to work at the ship yard and the workday there starts for many at 6:00, the breakfast option is useless anyway. My room was never serviced the entire stay, no trash removal, no fresh towels, nothing. I did see the housekeeper two days and got coffee packages from her but my room was never serviced. I never saw anyone at the front desk except the morning I checked out and they did not acknowledge me and I didn't speak either. Bottom line is like others have stated you get what you pay for and if all you want is a place to shower and sleep it's probably good enough but I would never stay here with my family. Like a lot of places it could be improved through more truthful description on the web site and a little investment and effort.

During our stay at your hotel, We encountered a room that was dirty and less than satisfactory with numerous broken amenities. First off, we were missing towels, then I used the rest room and the toilet wouldnt flush, I then tried to call the front desk and the phone wouldnt work (thank god I wasnt trying to call 911). Now Im frustrated and have to take my 3 year old autistic son all the way down to the front desk, no one was there. Rang the bell waited a while then as I was about to call while standing at the front desk the attendant appeared. Tells me she will come by the room. Waited over an hour go to see what is going on and theres a bag with a broken plunger at my door I opened the bag which was filled with disgusting water and a BROKEN disgusting plunger. So AGAIN I returned to the front desk and informed the woman what happened and was told that she was the only one there and she doesnt know what to do. I then asked to switch rooms which she did but my son being autistic then threw a fit due to having to move rooms after and this one smelled like cigarettes and had a TV that barely came in but by this time it was almost 10:30 and I just wanted to go to bed. This issue greatly affected my ability to enjoy my stay, and I believe it falls well below the standards expected of a hotel. Rooms: Dirty outdated and smelly.

This place is one of the cheapest hotels you can find in the area. You get exactly what you pay for. If youre on a budget its convenient. Someone is on staff at all times and they seem to be friendly and accommodating. If Im correct some of the cleaning people & employees stay in the rooms often. My only complaint is the room I was put in next to some of the cleaning people was very loud and obnoxious- front desk ended up giving me a new room. Rooms: The style of the rooms are a bit outdated and minimal. If you can get over that they still have most basic amenities including a mini fridge, a TV, and a coffee maker . Walkability: The property is pretty decent size and actually has somewhat of a decent aesthetic although outdated. The size of the building is almost a little misleading because youre typically confined to a couple corridors. The building is a large open parking lot which makes accessing most entrances quite easy. Food & drinks: Absolute bare minimum. They have a Pepsi machine and an ice machine. Luckily this location is almost directly next to an Irving gas station. Noteworthy details: This hotel is very bare bones and a bit outdated, so be prepared for that.
