Closed early every trip we have taken. The whale was lazy and didn't want to serve customers. All they did was stand around. When people show up freezing cold, least they could do is offer a sandwich and drink while grill is shut off.

Second time being here, first time with new owners! Food was DELICIOUS and the flavor was ON POINT! Service was stellar, professional and friendly! Restaurant was very clean and well organized! Will definitely be making this one of our top spots on a routine basis! So EXCITED to see where the new owners take this place in the restaurant world!!!

Food is stellar and service is great. Whether you come by car, truck, snowmobile, or ATV the place is one of the very best in Maine. Prices aren't half bad either. A must see.

My husbands ordered the fried country steak and it was BURNT. It was as thick as a gram cracker and a dark brown almost black. The gravy was also not what he ordered. Waitress was ever so helpful but the owner came rushing over to notify us that we were wrong the food was fine, that they make the fried country steak with Italian bread crumbs and that is how it looks. Will never go back.
