Steve is an awesome guy, goes above and beyond, and is surprisingly reasonably priced despite his exceptional service and hard work. This poor guy had to shovel snow forever trying to find a septic tank at my inspection. It was NOT where it said it was on the map. I definitely highly recommend Northeast Home Inspections!

Steve is an extremely professional and excellent home inspector. My partner and I are purchasing a home in Maine remotely from Chicago.
Things moved quite quickly and we went under contract on a Monday. On Tuesday I called Steve as well as a few other inspectors. Steve immediately made time for me on that Saturday morning. As a first time home buyer the process is opaque and not always clear whats needed. Steve advised us on every step and recommended in addition to the base inspection to have our water and septic tested. He made time earlier in the week to head out and test our water, so all our results would be available at the same time.
Steve and his helper arrived promptly at 9AM and immediately got started. Steve was detail oriented, willing to walk us through every note and gave us a lot of great additional advise. He spent more than 2 hours with us which we could not appreciate enough, especially given it was our first time seeing the home and as first time home buyers.
Steve also has such a great sense of humor we had a lot of fun with him.
