So, fun story: one of the managers -a real thumb of a woman- actually reached out to their current employees a few months ago to try and get them to write reviews on Glassdoor. She said that some former employees with personal issues against the staff used this website to post "fake" and "misleading" reviews about the company to try and sabotage them. I told them that I went ahead and wrote a review. I didn't.
I can assure you that all of the terrible stuff said about Voice Teleservices in those reviews is true, I unfortunately experienced a lot of it in my year of working for the company. All of the positive reviews look fake, like something the manager (mother of the boss's kid) wrote in a minute to fix their terrible rating.
What led me to finally write this review is that, after months of working from home, it was suddenly demanded that I come back to work, with not even an attempt at an excuse provided. When I pressed for a reason, I was given the same demand, more curtly. After a solid back-and-forth of me pointing out reasons why I shouldn't need to go back to the office and her copy-and-paste responses, I put in my two weeks and started composing this review.
You do not want to work here. That being said, they will hire anyone, and will allow them to stay on no matter their behavior. If you feel like screaming at the manager in the center of the office, threatening violence at them, and attempting to destroy company property, you will be allowed to stay, despite the safety concerns of your coworkers.
There was a time when I tried to exceed the goals of this job, when there was the promise of possible reward in the monthly bonuses. And then one of the managers began very obviously doing just enough work each day to out-do whoever was otherwise on top. Not great for motivating your employees. So I started doing the bare minimum.
This place is desperate to take new people on but once you're there, you're trash in their eyes. STAY AWAY FROM VOICE TELESERVICES! IT'S A TRAP
