Portland Regency Hotel and Spa

The room was comfortable, and the hotel's location was convenient. However, I found the valet service to be overpriced, and the unexpected additional fees at checkout were disappointing. It would be beneficial for hotels to transparently disclose any potential hidden fees upfront to ensure a more seamless and fair booking process for guests.

I won the Portland Old Port Valentines Day contest, and a nights stay at the Portland Regency was included in the prize package. We stayed the night of 2/16/24. The building is a classic beauty. Its tucked away conveniently in the Portland Old Port, making it easy to walk around the city for dining, sight seeing, and shopping. The service at the Regency was excellent, the food was amazing to the eye and the palate, and and the employees were very friendly and helpful. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. We would definitely recommend staying at the Portland Regency Hotel and Spa.

Liz at the whiskey bar is absolute treasure. Not only the knowledge of whiskey and the drinks she serves, but the complete experience is top notch ! Bravo!

Beautiful historic building right near the port. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. There are two restaurants and a spa on site. The hotel is within walking distance to many great restaurants and shops.

The room was great. Loved the architecture of the hotel. Other than the snow it was nice to walk to a various stores & restaurants Rooms: The room was more than we bargained for. Especially with it having a Keurig machine in it. Walkability: It was enjoyable walking to variable stores, restaurants, & attractions. Food & drinks: The grilled cheese restaurant was excellent
