image I have spent a lot of time here at the Inn and the staff is incredibly attentive and thoughtful in their care of guests. The innkeeper is so welcoming and it is clear the whole team cares about the guest experience so deeply! Cant wait to stay again.
Rooms: Love the design and coziness
Nearby activities: So much to do in town - sailing, hiking, good food and live music.
Walkability: Right in town, perfect walk-ability to all Rockland had to offer
Food & drinks: Great local options nearby!
Noteworthy details: Great interior design details

image The Lindsey is such a special place from top to bottom. We've stayed on two different occasions and had a delightful experience both times. As someone with dietary restrictions, the extra care and thoughtfulness put into accommodating my breakfast meals went above and beyond. And as a special bonus, freshly made cookies perfume the inn each afternoon; a perfect welcome back after a day of exploration in Rockland and the Midcoast region. We also love, love, love how walkable the Lindsey is to every restaurant, shop, ferry line, and museum in town. Settle into the comfort of your cozy room (and stunning interiors) and then enjoy all the local amenities on foot!
Rooms: The most comfortable beds with antique furnishings rounding out the homey atmosphere.
Nearby activities: Literally everything is at your fingertips right there!
Walkability: The most perfect location for exploring Rockland!
Food & drinks: Super accommodating for any dietary restrictions and the loveliest attention to detail with each meal.
Noteworthy details: The design details of the interiors are so intentional and pretty! Everywhere you look there's something else to admire. Plenty of soft seating and desks for lounging (or working if necessary.)

image We have stayed at the Lindsey on two separate occasions now and both experiences have been great. The rooms were comfortable, quiet and beautifully designed. The bed was fantastic and sheets were high quality. The service was incredible and the breakfasts were some of the best I've had at a bed and breakfast. The location was right in the middle of all of the action in Rockland, but far enough off the main streets to be quiet. I recommend staying here to anyone that is looking for a wonderful getaway in the mid-coast.
Rooms: Very comfortable, beautifully designed
Nearby activities: So much within a short walk or drive
Walkability: The location is perfect for hopping the ferry or going out to enjoy all of Main Street's offerings.
Food & drinks: Fresh cookie snacks, delicious cooked-to-order breakfast

image My husband and I stayed at The Lindsey Guest House last April. The inn is historic and beautiful. The owners are extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The daily breakfasts were delicious. Rockland is an adorable walkable town. Acadia National Park is a few hours away and worth the drive.i cant wait to visit again!
