Spent 10 minutes in line only to find out they are out of bagels. How does a bagel shop run out of Plain bagels. This is the third time it has happened to me so I can’t imagine how many times this happens. How hard would it be to put a sign up before you wait in the drive through line saying “sorry we are out of bagels again”. That way you could just head over to Scratch bakery in South Portland (who never run out of bagels and they are much better anyway). Won’t go here again!!!

The Scarborough Mr. Bagel has had a name change recently and is now Maine Bagel. I have always enjoyed Mr. Bagel bagels but I have to say I think I like the Maine Bagel bagels better. I prefer a softer bagel, which these are. The store is still bright and friendly and the owner works the counter along with his employees, which is nice to see.
