World Wide Chimney Sweeps, Inc.

After reading all the wonderful reviews on here, I decided to give this place a call to clean and fix my damper on my fireplace. After they said they were book solid until May, a person named Calvin called me back. After speaking to Calvin, we agreed on a date (March 22nd between 10am and 3pm). I was surprised they were able to get me in so early after being told it wouldn't be until May. Calvin stated to me that they would call 30 minutes prior to arrival to make sure someone was home. It is now March 22nd at 3pm and no one from World Wide Chimney has called me and no one has arrived to my house. Because of the lack of communication, and failure to show up, I'm giving this place 1 star.

After my experience with Worldwide I'm very skeptical of the reviews listed here. To be honest, I scheduled with Worldwide BASED upon their Google reviews. Fake reviews are completely possible, and I'm inclined to believe that's what are listed here. When scheduled for a Chimney Sweeping and Inspection, Calvin showed up late for our appointment. Once inside he performed a 5 minute visual inspection, then pulled out his folder to prepare a $300 invoice. When pressed regarding the brevity of his inspeciton, he informed that he had inspected the exterior of the chimney with binoculars from his truck (how do you see the crown of the chimney and cap from on the ground?), and that the chimney did not require sweeping as it was perfectly clean. To be clear, he did not use any camera or visual aid to inspect the length of chimney. As we continued to discuss how his service was lacking basic details, he then strangely shifted the conversation to his Karate training. In effort to threaten us? Ultimately, we finally paid the $300 amount to get him to leave our house. To this day I'm upset at myself for allowing the awkwardness of the situation dictate payment. Since his visit we have used another service to inspect our chimney (utilizing ladders to gain roof access to inspect the chimney and cameras to inspect the interior of the chimney), and have found Worldwide's assessment to be dangerously wrong. Please avoid.

Calvin was so knowledgeable and helpful. After several bad experiences with other companies, World Wide Chimney was a breath of fresh air. They were flexible with scheduling and provided a wealth of information about how to keep our chimney safe and clean. Certainly recommend!

Didn't show up for appointment time.  Apparently if you don't answer the phone the 30m before the appointment (which why make an appointment) they don't show up.  They also have a real hard time answering the phone when you call back.  Go elsewhere.

Farace did a great job coming in my house and cleaning the chimney. We had couple of wasps inside the chimney and he helped cleaning that out too. Excellent service! I will definitely recommend the company for your chimney cleaning.
