I have used Firestone for a long time, but I will not be using it anymore after learning what this store did to my car. Last year, I took my car to this store for an oil change. For some reason, right after the oil change, my horn stopped working. I took it back to them since it was kind of coincidental that it happened the same day as the oil change. They said oh oil change had nothing to do with the horn system, but asked for $50 to check it out. I said sure. After the $50 diagnostic test, they informed me that I needed a complete replacement of the horn system and it would be around $200. I did not want to spend that much money at that time. Today, I had to do my state's safety inspection, and I asked them to see what was wrong with the horn since the inspection would fail without a working horn. They told me someone had messed with the fuse of the horn and left somethings (can't completely recall what it's called) open. It took 30 mins, and they fixed it for $10. They also laughed when I said another mechanic had told me I needed to replace the horn system. Now, I am just wondering what else they have messed with in my car. What they did to my car was just such a disgusting thing for a business to do to its customer. No wonder a lot of people do not trust auto mechanics. I would definitely stay away from this place.

Got ripped off. I can tell them the reason, but they still need to diagnosis for $56. Bought a knife at homedepot for $4 and solved by myself. Will never go back.

The only thing that seemed to go right was the fact the tires were put on. After taking my car home I continued to have to put air in two of my four brand new tires. After I brought it back for them to take a look at they charge a "flat tire repair" fee of $20 a tire. In addition to the shady business going on, I was supposed to get a battery inspection to check the charge of it. I was informed that it was at optimal performance only to drive down the street to auto zone to have the same test done and get a reading that I could see that said the battery was bad. I'm no car expert but when it dies multiple times a week it's usually a bad battery and a major chain repair shop should report accurate information to customers. I won't be back and advise people to take their business elsewhere.
