I contacted a number of contractors because my compressor had stopped working; I got the impression they all were over selling. I called Blue Star, Dave (hope I got name correct) responded, promised to come the following day & kept his promise. He said my compressor was old, but tried to get it running, because as he explained, if it did start then I would not have to make an immediate decision. I had to make a decision because it didn't start. The process of replacing was explained, I was advised of various systems & recommendation were made. I chose the follow the professional advice given. The job began on schedule and in an impressive time was completed & tested, Dave told me that he was training Brian to be the very best. The system has been in operation for two summers, my cooling bill used to be between $170. to $200/month, it is now, consistently between $65 & $77/month. I'm really impressed with Dave & Brian; Blue Star. Hope your leg is being good to you. Service: Install AC

5/30/2022 Update: My air conditioning stopped working and I called Kevin, who once again came right over. Unfortunately I needed a new air handler. He and his helper were very knowledgeable and replaced the unit without any issues. I must say this new unit works far better than the old one. I would highly recommend Blue Star Services. Kevin justed repaired my heating system and installed a new thermostat. He came right over on a Sunday. Great guy and great service. If you have heating or air conditioning issues, call Kevin. You'll be glad you did. Air conditioner was leaking in my basement after already having a terrible morning, in which my entire living room ceiling fell on me while lying on the couch. After spending most of the day cleaning up drywall and insulation I noticed the AC was leaking. Kevin had fixed my unit a couple of years ago on short notice. It's late Saturday afternoon when I called and he had already left my area and was finished for the day. After explaining the problem, he said he'd be right over and arrived within 20 minutes. He remembered me and what he'd done previously. He knew exactly what the problem was and fixed it quickly. Just like before, he was very friendly and down to earth. After having one of the worst days imaginable, Kevin made the rest of my day. Not many people are coming over after being called at 3:00 Satuday afternoon. This is the second time he has bailed me out in the dead of summer. Both times he gave me a great deal. I would highly recommend him for any heating and AC issues.
