        I absolutely love Dr. Giffi. When I was first diagnosed with ITP, I was seeing a different hematologist, who made me feel like I was little more than an inconvenience in his day, and quickly made a decision to seek a second opinion. Dr. Gifft has been wonderful from the start. She took her time explaining my condition to me, what happens in the body when you have ITP, the various treatments and how they work, and she has called me personally with my lab results. Those may seem like really small things, but they're the things that make you feel like you matter as a patient and as a human being.
