I scheduled an appointment with Pure Works, and made arrangements for my dog to be out of the house weeks in advance of the appointment. At 11:00 PM the night before my appointment, I received an email asking to confirm my appointment, but when I replied the next morning, the message was undeliverable. I attempted to reply via a link in the email, but there was no option to send a message in that system.
My appointment was scheduled for 9:00 AM. At 8:05 AM, I received a message telling me that they would be rescheduling my appointment. Not asking me, telling me. Because the arrangements I made for my dog, I told them that would not be feasible and I requested a refund. They told me that I had to download Cashapp to receive a refund, or I’d have to wait 7 days. When I told them that I would not be downloading Cashapp, I was told that it would actually be 14 days. I found that extremely suspicious and have had to dispute the charges with my credit. Do not trust this business.
