Hakeem was very responsive to and patient during both of my service calls/requests. My first service request was to assess and move my irrigation backflow preventer out of the basement and reinstall it outside because of the mess it made when turning the water supply to the irrigation system on and/or off. He advised me he could do what I asked and that it would costs approx. $1400.00 but that it was not necessary. Instead, he explained the sequence for turning the three shutoff valves on/off to avoid back pressure and, thus, making a wet mess. He could have done what I asked and taken my money, but he didn't.
My 2nd service call was to repair one of the leaking shutoff valves at the aforementioned irrigation backflow preventer that no longer closed when trying to turn it off (round valve handle rotated infinitely in either direction). Hakeem responded immediately to my call, came out two days later as scheduled, replaced both the old broken and the other old identical "screw type" valves with two new ball valves. The job involved a bit of soldering work. I was very pleased with his work. I definitely recommend and, in the future will use, Star Plumbing. Services: Pipe repair, Leak investigation and repair
