Been a dealer and user for 35 yrs. Coverig entire Caribbean for thousands of customers. Great product + high quality people. Would not change them for the life of it! Most problems mentioned are sales related. That is always a problem. A good rep will yield great results.

We are having unanticipated problems with our new awning. Because we are an end unit and our deck is up high, we seem to be experiencing wind gusts. Our new awning bounces up and down with minimum wind speeds. We’ve already had to have service people from this company come out for a service call when the pitch of the awning became uneven. Any wind over 8 miles an hour causes us to bring in the awning. We aren’t able to use it much. We were told it could withstand up to 30 mph wind speeds. We feel the salesman should have cautioned us before we purchased. We were novices and he had been in the business for over 20 years. Having the service department return my telephone calls was also a problem. We have now added an automatic sensor which will bring the awning in on windy days. This has been a big help. After talking with Sunair we now bring the awning in halfway as the angle of the sun changes during the day. This makes the awning more stable and less susceptible to wind. We now use our awning more often and are very happy with our choice.
