    SimpliSafe ISNT. 1) The copyright on their website is currently EXPIRED. They are careless and wreckless with customer information, but ironically sell security products. I received an erroneous ( which I NOW believe to be scam) text message from their company, oddly at MIDNIGHT. I reached out through the BBB ( a secure 3rd party) to inform this sketchy business that my number is not associated with their customer and asking them to remove my number, which they obtained without my knowledge or consent. Instead of doing so, they proceed to contact my number (obtained without my consent) and leave a voicemail that conveniently goes static-crazy when the individual is leaving their contact-back info. Can you say shady?? Instead of contact THEIR CUSTOMER and removing my information, they want to call me and "get to the bottom of it". If I've stated I'm not your customer, theres nothing to "get to the bottom of". Simply, remove my number from your system, and communicate with your customer, DUH. This company is beyond wreckless and SHADY.

    CONSUMER BEWARE - SIMPLIE DO NOT PURCHASE! If there was zero stars, SIMPLIE SAFE would have received it!!! This has to be one of the worse pieces of equipment I have yet to purchase. The front door lock has fallen off several times (shortly after being installed) and the window monitors have broken off! The support Simplisafe offers is 0% when it comes to any of the above. The remedy they offer is to replace the unit charging the consumer once again for parts and installation. Consumer please, please, please do not purchase. Consumer pleae, please, please beware and do your homework before purchasing!

    I've almost always had issues with customer service at SimpliSafe but today was the worst. After going through several tests with a tech on the phone she told me to remove and re-add 4 devices whose batteries were low and were no longer responding. Really? In 2024? The code for each is in the base station...but their software can't just clear the error by sending the code to the base after replacing the battery? Not according to their tech. Well then, how about spending some of their customer fees on upgrading the software? In 3 years I only recall one software update, two at the most and nothing that seems to me to have improved the service. Reconnecting cameras is an even crazier routine if they lose power. And don't tell me it's due to distance from the router. Mine are no more the 30 feet away from routers I connect to from 150+ feet. This is NOT an inexpensive service, in fact, the monthly fees are high. And 2-year battery life!...I have at least 25 sensors in 2 houses. These flat batteries are not cheap either and I'm replacing several every month and having to go through this ridiculous reconnection process. I wish I had picked a different service, one that doesn't require you to do the maintenance yourself or where doing that came at a lower price than the rip-off artists at SimpliSafe.

    The worst company with shipping and handling. Twice I was told it would be here in 2 days. It was day 10, so I said cancel the order and overnight a new one and was told it would be FedEx'ed overnight. They sent it through USPS again, and it will be four more days. There is still no system for 12 days. I'm extremely disappointed.
