I have had 3 children attend this school and it was the best decision I ever made. All 3 have gone on to both college and high school with great success after their education here. Great family feeling as well

I am not surprised Montessori is closing its doors. I brought my grandson there to check out the school when it was in Westport. My grandson was 3 years old and I explained to Alice Levesque that he was very active and had a problem with holding his attention with group learning. He is great "one on one". He was observed in the classroom and she told me they knew how to handle him and he would fit in fine. I started paying tuition in April for him to attending that coming September. My grandson is a very polite, nice little boy, but he has trouble sitting still when on the matt, which was often. From day one Alice complained that he could not keep still although he was a nice little boy. This went on every day for a month until I had no choice to take him out and put him in The Little Red School where they used a wiggle chair and sticker reinforcement and they loved him, he learned and they had absolutely had no trouble with him. He loved it there. Alice agreed to pay me back my unused tuition as she agreed she told me she knew how to handle this, which she did not, and she agreed he was a good boy otherwise and would refund me the tuition overpaid. She owed me $2900 but only actually paid me once $500 and told me over many months thereafter she was broke and would pay me back the following month, then the following month, but never did. Pretty sad to steal money from a little boys school bank account and not make any further attempt to try to pay back money owed to this little guy. It's now been three years. I know Sister Louis would have been pretty upset with this and with her. One of ten commandments state, though shall not steal....I see you have a challenged child, which is no fault of her own, how would you feel if someone stole from her and criticized her when she was trying her best. I trusted Mrs Levesque as I thought she was a honest sincere person. Hope she is happy with the $2200 she stole from my little grandson.
