I ordered leaf mulch for our garden. The mulch was delivered several weeks past the original agreed-upon date. Several days after the mulch was spread, I noticed that several plants in contact with the mulch were yellowing and dying. A neighbor who had the mulch spread the same day called me with a similar concern. When I contacted Mr. Lima about the issue, he dismissed me, telling me that he had never had any problems, and that the mulch was fine. He told me that he would come by to look at the yard that day but never showed up. When I called him that evening, he told me that was "very busy" and would come the next morning. I believe that this was an issue of "sour mulch" which was exacerbated by the fact that the mulch was spread on a very hot, sunny day. When he came the next day, he was defensive (although he acknowledged that there was a problem), told me that I should call his supplier, and left. I am now having to manage this myself. I would not recommend this landscaper at all.
