Third times the charm? I don't think so.....
So I have had to now have 3 mid course corrections for my aligners from Smile Direct Club. I "finished" my course in July 2017 and my bottom teeth - only 5 they have been working on since I signed up- are still not straight. I have now been doing this for 8 months- it was supposed to take 3.
This is a pretty straight forward job and I had to go back again in August and have another 3D rescan/mid course correction.
Again- in Customer Service I cant speak to the same person twice- there are so many people in customer service who have no idea what on earth is happening all you do is repeat yourself and everyone is SORRY. I am suppose to have some guy named Shelby who is apparently a manager now watching my case and ensuring this works, but have not heard from him once since my screening and the aligners have come and again they don't fit. I also never received an updated PDF showing how this was going to be corrected.
The original PDF is not how my teeth ended up and was inaccurate. To date I have had 4 managers say they are watching this, managing this, will follow up and fix and none have.
The 3D scan I had 3 weeks ago clearly didn't do what it was supposed to. So I am about to start the process to demand a refund.
What can I say...if you cut the cost you will see the results. Stick with professionals and not a ship box of plastic that costs 5 dollars to make.
This has been a COMPLETE NIGHTMARE to straighten 5 bottom teeth!!! I keep getting goodie boxes with swap when I just wanted my teeth fixed

******BUYER BEWARE******
Just got double billed by smile direct. I paid with care credit in full the day of my appointment and now they’re charging my credit card for monthly payments. Customer service WAS ABHORRENT! Yes we see you paid in full. We don’t know why this happened or why my signature was forged by the representative at the Natick store No soulution and on hold for 45 minutes. WORST COMPANY EVER! Thankfully the company that they use to finance their service was extremely helpful and is handling it from here. It’s extremely disturbing to me that the representative singed my name to papers after I left....I don’t know if she forgot to have me sign and assumed it would be ok but it is certainly not.
Please be careful with this company.
