School of Groove

I've been a guitar player for the last 20 years, but for awhile I'd been craving something new and different. To that end, I decided to take up drumming, and this past February, I enlisted the School of Groove in this effort and I've been very happy with my experience. I've found the instructors to be extremely competent and unafraid to cater to my own musical preference and style, as well as very personable and friendly. I have been quite satisfied with the progress I've made, and I find the lessons to be well-balanced between rudiments, exercises, and fun. As a working professional, I also appreciate the School's flexibility in scheduling, and one of the best aspects of my experience has been the use of practice rooms - as long as I call ahead, and there's an open drum kit, I can go and practice whenever I want to. I would highly recommend the School to my friends.

The school of groove rocks! my daughter (8) especially loves the rock and roll camp in and has been taking piano there for about 9 months and she is really excelling!

Great place for all musicians- teachers are always helpful and ensembles are a great way to get and play music with others to build up music repertoire. I would highly recommend going to SOG for classes. You will find a great network of musicians like yourself wanting to play music. Lots of fun!
