Dr. Kai Mithoefer

Dr. Mithoefer has done shoulder as well as knee surgeries for me. He is extremely knowledgeable and I feel very confident in his abilities as well as perspective on my injuries and rehab process. My most recent surgery was knee cartilage implantation (MACI) and I have felt well informed and cared for throughout the process. The surgery is more intensive than anything Ive had done before and was completely new to me, but Im grateful to have met with Dr. Mithoefer and taken his surgical recommendation after having less than ideal meetings with other ortho doctors. Knowing his long history in the field and proven track record with joint and cartilage injuries made me additionally confident I was receiving the best care possible.

When I met him he seemed very professional, knowledgeable, and very kind and concerned. I would highly recommend him after first meeting him. Now, being 6 months post-op, my shoulder is doing very well. I have confidence in him as a surgeon.
