The Kid's Place (Westfield, MA) - No Place for infants!The staff tries their best but their best wasn't good enough. We removed our infant son after 6 months.  Do not believe that they run and operate an effective "infant classroom". 80% of his time was spent with toddlers in combined classrooms. We shouldn't have been surprised that during his time there he was bitten 3 times. Do not believe they have enough staff. Both the corporate office and the Westfield office are unable to keep a staff that is consistent or happy for that matter. It is a revolving door. It was clear to us that a healthy bottom line took president over a healthy environment. My biggest complaint (and I have many) is the lack of procedures. Witnessing children in chaotic situations was a regular occurrence. Drop off hour in the morning is horrendous. Instead of having enough staff, the procedure is that they count heads every 15 minutes and only then evaluates staff coverage.  Children are herded in from outside causing chaos at the door. Diaper rash ointments never used, no policy for sunscreen, accounting errors and billing confusion... the list goes on and on.  The staff tries their best. Their best results in confusion and chaos.
