Went to PetSmart today (8/28/14) to get a few items. Ended up walking out and canceling a $220 purchase. Had an issue with something not ringing up for the price below the item. A puppy bed was in a location where it said the price was $11.99. EVERY bed of it's type was in this location. At the register it rang up for $24.99. So we had to do a price check where I showed the women exactly where I got the bed. She realized all the beds were in the wrong location and blamed it on customers. Customers did not put EVERY bed of it's type in the wrong location. The women went on the hunt for the proper location and found it about 8 feet away from where the beds actually were. I asked her to honor the price in which ALL the beds of its type were located, she refused. She told me I have to check the bar code numbers against the bar code numbers on the tag on the shelf. "Sorry? I didn't know that was the customers job.", she then got very rude and condescending. Upon reaching the register I told my friend "It's the customers job to check the bar codes on the item and the price tag on the shelf", the women started laughing and snatched up the beds out of my hand (that I was still going to purchase) and walked away. No apology was given at any time! Now, we are breeders of English Bulldogs and we spend about $1,200 at PetSmart EVERY month. NOT ANYMORE!!! I will drive the extra 30min to get everything I need elsewhere. There is NO customer service anymore.
