Update: For 2 months I called without receiving a response. I left this public complaint and received an immediate response to email them because of privacy laws, although I'm pretty sure an apology and explanation does not break HIPAA laws. I emailed as requested and still have heard nothing back. It seems the response to this review was for public appearances only. I would warn anyone from this location and maybe the company as a whole if this is how they treat their patients. I don't typically leave reviews but I felt my experience needed to be shared and hopefully serve as a warning for others. When I initially reached out to this company/location, everyone seemed very helpful and understanding and I went into it with a good feeling. I had three appointments with the therapist assigned, J. Blythe, who seemed at times unprofessional in my opinion but as a whole I felt it helped just to talk to someone. For example, I spoke with her many times about having trouble sleeping: having night terrors/night sweats/etc. and asked what I could try to help and she recommended Zzzquil. (Which I believe goes against what therapists are supposed to recommend and also is not something you're supposed to take regularly according to health professionals.) But I wanted to give therapy a chance. Our fourth appointment my therapist ghosted me - she never called for the appointment, she never again answered my texts and according to the office she never answered their messages either. I contacted the office immediately about the situation and they recommended I be set up with a new therapist, obviously. As many people know, it's hard to take the step and try therapy and it's also not cheap. To have your therapist ghost you and now have to start over with the whole process made it feel even harder; and so I asked if there was any way I could be reimbursed for any portion of the therapy as I felt it was negated by my therapist disappearing entirely. I was told that my request would be forwarded to the right people and I was repeatedly told I would hear from someone ASAP or that someone would be calling me by the next day, but they made sure to confirm that I was setting up another appointment. When the time came for my next appointment with a new therapist, I postponed as money is very tight and I would have to space the appointments out more if I did not receive any money back on the previous appointments, so I wanted to wait to hear a resolution on my inquiry. It has now been 2 months since my therapist first ghosted me and the office now will not return my calls and will not answer. I even tried since to set up another appointment and no one answered or returned my call. It seems the office is treating me the same way their therapist did. It is very unprofessional and disheartening for a professional office, especially one dealing with mental health, to treat their clients this way. To have not just the therapist but the office ghost me feels like they were taking advantage of me and frankly makes me feel scammed out of the money I did pay them thus far. Perhaps one of the other locations are better but I would not recommend this office or this therapist. Completely unprofessional.

This has been the most awful experience for me. Let's bear in mind that during this time, I was under extreme stress from a mental health crisis that I was recovering from. So that being said...The process started in late October of last year where I applied to get assessed. Fast forward to February of this year where I finally received my appointment to be screened for testing. I was informed that it would be up to 6 weeks before I would be assessed. Luckily that part was true and I was assessed in March. I receive my assessment and am informed that I will receive the results in about two weeks. Two weeks roll around and I hear nothing. I email them... and then nothing. Three weeks... nothing. Four weeks..nothing, and on and on. I didn't get my assessment information interview until mid-May. I did get my basic diagnosis but received no referrals or recommendations for treatment which was odd. So, after receiving verbal confirmation of my diagnosis, I was informed that I would be getting a packet of my evaluation in the mail in a few weeks and then my bill after that. Weeks roll by and I get nowhere even though I play email tag with my assessor. Everything keeps rolling back to "I have to check with Admin". I get it but I'm also getting ghosted, repeatedly. I then hear that this is an issue with billing, from which I did receive a bill. That's weird because I never received my packet. So how can I pay for something when I don't have all my information? There has been so much back and forth about this. I fear that if I pay my bill, I'll be ghosted and never receive my packet. I have to move on with my life. I need that information packet so I can inform my general practitioner about medical care and therapy otherwise it's just word of mouth at this point. I am tired. I am at a loss. I have no faith in this company and it seems diabolical to me that a company which claims to care so much about mental health would withhold my mental health information from me. Edited to say that I paid the bill in full and am STILL getting the run-around about acquiring my diagnosis information packet. Sollars, this is now up to you. Make this right.
