I have been studying with Nikk for about six months now and I can not express how much fun it is! He has really helped me progress with my vocal abilities, as well as my confidence. He is incredibly patient and encouraging. For those reasons, and so many more, I look forward to my lesson every week.

I started taking guitar lessons in 2020 just for fun. Ive never had any formal musical training prior to it, but Im making progress and Nikk is a great teacher and he is very patient!

Learning something new is tough but it can be much smooth when a student gets his/her teacher of choice.... when both teacher and students mindsets fall on the same string. The same way Shriyan has started his journey of learning guitar playing since 2017 when he was 6 years old with his favorite teacher (as he always says) Nikk May in his Farmington Hills, Michigan studio. Within couple of years Shriyan learned the basics of guitar and progressed so well that he could play few songs by himself. We always thank Nikk for teaching Shriyan so patiently from the first day and also help growing his interest which is very important in a long run. Even we moved out of Michigan 2 years ago, Shriyan couldnt think anybody else other than his guitar teacher "Nikk" ; hence he kept continue learning from Nikk online till now. As a parent, Ive noticed their nice understanding, friendly relationships & respect to each other during learning the lesson. In brief, I am highly impressed on Nikks knowledge, way of teaching guitar and above all very nice and friendly relationship with students. He is an amazing teacher. - Mom of Shriyan Set

Nikk really knows how to make guitar & piano classes easy and engaging for kids. My two kids (14 years and 9 years old boys) have been learning from Nikk for past 2 years now. As they make substantial progress with their instruments, they also feel like they have a stake in the class, being able to choose some of their favorite songs. Nikk is friendly, supportive, but will challenge your musicians (very important to us). My kids love music and have connected with their teacher very well. Nikk is super fun, helpful and very professional! He is very approchable and patient and genuinely wants to help. Even during these testing times, he has wonderfully conducted skype sessions and its been a sigh of relief ! Thank you Nikk! For being such an amazing influence!
