Emergency Locks Farmington Hills

Called them up Sunday noon. They informed me that a technician will get in touch with me. Soon a guy messaged me with the number XXX-XXX-4322 and I texted him back with my service address. He was at my location in about 45 mins; drilled open the lock and replaced with another one. So far so good. No complaints. The reason for this review is the amount charged for this work - a whooping $280 + service charges. Questioned him about the service charge and he demanded - "just pay me $280". I do understand its an emergency service and costs are high. But the way he demanded taking advantage of the situation without even an element of shame actually lead me into taking my time to write this notes on google. He didn't even attempt to open the lock, just came in and said "I will have to drill it open"; which even we could have done. And he replaced it with a pretty Cheap replacement door lock (A good one cost hardly $30 at amazon/Home Depo; his replacement was cheap which might be hardly $10-$15). These kind of guys are those which spoils the morality of business. I am a super handy guy who can easily do what he did. When I say I am "super handy" , I mean what I say. I do things from simple to super complicated which these guys or any of their acquaintance would ever dream of even attempting. It would have costed me $50 and a drive to the home depot/great lakes hardware store nearby- It was not in the dead of a night...it was noon except that it was a Sunday (Holiday). I was trying to help out a business and at the same time I can focus on something else productive. I did the same some time back for my garage door (a garage door repair business came and fixed it for me - a good job for a good price and I was super happy and content). Also had a handyman help me do some yard works. Its a difficult time and businesses need our help!!! I didn't bother to question him on this ruthless pricing - let him enjoy the filthy profit he made. Not sure if this guy was "Emergency Locks" business technician or they passed on my service to some of its affiliates/third party. But if its the latter, Emergency locks - you need to check this guy to have some discipline on his services. This is not a service; This is a perfect example of unethical business in action/ a ruthless loot. Everyone is here to live and let live. I could afford the excruciating price he demanded; just think of someone else who might be financially broken. There is a substantial difference in being ambitious and being greedy. Please understand this truth - unethical business will fail, will perish. And you will never be happy. You may get filthy rich ; but never happy. Greed will take you down. With that being said, I wish Emergency Locks Farmington Hills and all its associated affiliates (including this gentlemen) all the very best. Stay safe, healthy and (I wish) truthful.

Had a wonderful experience with the team at Emergency Locks Farmington Hills! Lost my car key. They came out to my house within an hour of calling and were very quick and professional. I highly recommend Emergency Locks Farmington Hills!

The technician came right on time to where I needed him and was nothing but professional. I called many other companies and they were either lazy or didn't show up. Highly recommend Emergency Locks Farmington Hills .
